Agape Children’s Ministry was founded out of a deep burden to respond to the growing needs of orphaned and vulnerable children affected by HIV and Aids, poverty, abuse, abandonment, and family breakdown. Rooted in Christian values and guided by compassion, Agape began as a small outreach initiative, seeking to provide hope and healing to children who had been left behind by their parents.
Since its inception, Agape has grown into a dynamic, Christ-centered ministry committed to holistic child development. Our focus extends beyond meeting basic needs—we strive to empower other child service providers like individuals, churches and organisations to nurture the spiritual, emotional, physical, and social well-being of child. Through psychosocial support, education, life skills training, and family reintegration efforts, we work to restore dignity, unlock potential, and build strong foundations for a brighter future.
Operating in close partnership with communities, churches, families, and local leaders, Agape Children’s Ministry continues to impact lives—transforming not just individual children, but also the systems and environments around them. Every child we serve is a testimony of God’s love, and we remain steadfast in our mission to raise a generation that is healed, empowered, and rooted in purpose.

What People Say
Before coming to Agape Children’s Ministry, I had no idea what love, safety, or belonging felt like. I was living in very broken family. I lost both of my parents and began staying with my grandmother with other 7 children big and small. unsure of my next meal and constantly afraid. But everything changed the day I was introduced to Agape. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms, not just by staff, but by people who truly saw me—my pain, my potential, and my purpose.
At Agape, I was given more than physical provisions, I was given the chance to heal and grow in many ways. Through the care of the counsellors and the consistent support of the ministry team, I learned to trust again. They also helped me to enrol in school again, and today I am proud to say I have not only caught up but am thriving academically. I’ve also learned about God’s love and how deeply I am valued. For the first time, I believe my life has meaning. Now, I dream of becoming a social worker so I can give back and help other children who are going through what I once did. Agape didn’t just rescue me but it also gave me a future filled with hope.
Supporting Agape Children’s Ministry has been one of the most meaningful decisions of my life. I initially gave out of a desire to help vulnerable children, but over the years, I’ve witnessed something far greater than I ever imagined, lives truly being transformed.
I’ve seen children who were once homeless and hopeless become joyful, healthy, and full of potential. Through Agape’s holistic care, spiritual guidance, education, emotional healing, and family reintegration, these young lives are being rebuilt from the inside out. I remember reading a story about a young boy who had lived on the streets for years. Today, thanks to Agape, he’s back with his family, thriving in school, and dreaming of becoming a teacher.
What touches me most is how Agape focuses not just on rescue, but on restoration. They don’t just provide temporary help; they build a future. Knowing that my support plays a small part in these powerful transformations is humbling. I give with confidence, knowing that every donation is used wisely and with deep compassion. Agape Children’s Ministry is changing lives—and being a part of that story is a gift I’ll always cherish.
